Age: 16 on the 4th July.
Location: Born in Singapore and then moved to Sydney, Australia in 2003.
Style of art?
Hmmm, it's quite broad I guess. Ranging from literate to visual arts.
Visually, it's mostly vibrant and contemporary alongside a generous splash of abstract complexity. I aim for a contrasting, bold and fresh new look in every artwork I create, using ambiguous angles and perspectives in my photography and robust brushstrokes in my paintings.
What made you interested in becoming an artist?
My mother; she's my sole inspiration. I remember the first time she taught me to paint. That was also the first time I was introduced to art. I was 3 years old and she wanted me to enter an art competition, painting the local trains and the environment. I subsequently won $2000 for coming in second place. And from that day, I vowed to become an artist.
What makes you laugh?
Basically anything random. I have the strangest sense of humour. I could sit there, and start laughing for no particular reason. :D
Who do you look up to?
As mentioned, my mother, alongside mother nature. I'm absolutely in love with nature. It's probably the main inspiration for all my art. Call me a hippy, but we're all apart of it. ;)
